Anechoic chamber

This is a semi-anechoic chamber which is used to measure the frequency response and sensitivity of audio equipment. This chamber is a shared resource which is used by the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science Department at Sheffield. The chamber is equipped with a 16-microphone array and intensity probe to record and analyse sounds in the frequency range between 10 Hz and 20 kHz. Within the University the chamber can be booked via Google Calendar.
